Matt Foss
Partner
Matt Foss of LSF Dog Bite Lawyers works to hold those responsible for negligent injuries accountable for the danger they created. Both have been a focus of his professional work and his study. He also handles motor vehicle and commercial motor vehicle cases, wrongful death, premises liability, and landlord-tenant matters.
Matt spent several years working in the legal field before he began practicing law in early 2020, and he secured his first six-figure verdict just over a month later. Since then, he has obtained judgments and jury verdicts totaling more than $6 million and has negotiated settlements worth millions more on his clients’ behalf. His experience spans courts across all 46 South Carolina counties as well as federal court, including appearances before the South Carolina Court of Appeals. He has also taught evening legal education classes for the South Carolina Bar.
What Matt values most in his work is the close, personal relationship he builds with each client. For him, the reward of practicing law is in constantly pushing to raise the quality of every part of his work so he can help people through some of the hardest moments of their lives.
Away from work, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife, Victoria, playing golf, watching sports, trying new breweries and restaurants, and volunteering in the community.
